报告题目:Preparation and Applications of Dendronized Polymer-Enzyme Conjugates

报告内容简介:Enzymes are catalytically active globular proteins, which promote chemical reactions in all living systems and which are used in many industrial processes (e.g. for softening fabrics) in household products (e.g. as additives in laundry detergents), as well as for organic synthesis and analytical applications (e.g. for blood glucose determinations). For a number of applications enzymes are stabilized through a modification of their surface, or the enzymes are immobilized on a solid support. One recently developed method for the immobilization of enzymes on silicate surfaces is based on the preparation of conjugates between a synthetic dendronized polymer and the enzymes of interest. The principle of this method will be described and illustrated with selected examples.

报告人简介(中文):Peter Walde教授,瑞士国籍,先后于1979年和1983年在苏黎世瑞士联邦理工学院(ETH)获得学士和博士学位,而后分别在ETH, 新西兰奥克兰大学, 日本长崎大学从事博士后研究。1986年加盟到ETH生物聚合物Pier Luigi Luisi教授课题组,1997年担任教授一职。
