报告题目(英文):Low temperature deformation of the <100> oriented single crystalline CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloy
报告内容简介:
The <100> oriented single crystalline CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloy was deformed in tension at temperatures between 4 K and 300 K. Stress – strain curves were taken until fracture. The yield stress increases strongly with decreasing temperature. Below 10 K serrated flow is observed. The ductility is quite high. Thermal activation parameters (strain rate sensitivity and activation enthalpy) were derived from stress relaxation tests. The low temperature deformation behavior in terms of yielding, serrated flow and work-hardening of this advanced metal alloy will be demonstrated and discussed in terms of deformation mechanisms.

报告人简介(英文):Werner Skrotzki received his PhD degree from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 1980 and worked as a research associate at the Institute of Metal Physics of Universität Göttingen from 1977 to 1982. He then spent two years as a postdoctoral research associate at Cornell University, USA, and obtained his Habilitation for Geology at Universität Göttingen in 1989. From 1990 to 1993, he was a Heisenberg-Fellow of the DFG. He joined Technische Universität Dresden in 1993 as a full professor. Prof. Skrotzki held the following positions: Dean of Studies of the Department of Physics (2003-2009), Executive Director of the Institute of Physics (2003-2017), Vakanz-Seniorprofessor (2016-2019), and Seniorprofessor (2019-present). He also serves on numerous committees. His research focuses on the mechanisms of plasticity in metals and intermetallic compounds; microstructure and texture development during solidification and deformation; and monotonic and cyclic deformation of nano-/submicrocrystalline materials.
